802.11 Wireless Attacks

Abstract

The penetration of Wireless networks in the world grows exponentially. A lot of 802.11 vendors still sell wifi products with lack reasonable wireless security features (WPA, EAP, ..) A lot of service providers (Wi-Fi VOIP phones) still provide no encryption capability for their wireless networks. The basic 802.11 protocol does not support a reliable way of authentication and encryption on link layer (there is still a need of network-layer support IPSEC, CIPE)
